Hello design fans! We’ve readied our second Product Placement of the fall season, so come join us:
Product Placement 4.2: Design Inspired by the Natural World
Featuring presentations by:
• Malene B, whose handmade carpets draw up her African-Caribbean heritage; international travels; and background in painting and illustration
• Cmmnwlth, a furniture, art, and design studio that mixes craft with machine language
• Jewelry designer Kiel Mead, whose muses range from matchsticks and car keys to string and chewing gum
• Sculptor Maria Moyer, a maker of ceramic objects that concentrate on the intersection of nature and culture
